The quiz, an annual event, is taking place in the coming months. Finalists will travel to Israel for the final round which will be televised on Israeli Independence Day, May 14, 2024. Participants in the Zionism Quiz include youth organizations, families, groups, and leaders from Israel and the Jewish world.

Essence
In order to take part, follow these steps:
1. Register on www.zionyeda.co.il as a team leader. Teams consist of 2-4 participants.
2. Visit www.zionyeda.co.il or download the app zionet.
3. These will provide you with information about the quiz, study materials and sample questions.
4. Follow the upcoming online events.
Up to 10 teams will be participating in the various stages leading up to the semi-final stage. The leading teams will take part in the semi-finals and the team that wins will be flown to Israel (all expenses paid) to take part in the finals to be held in Jerusalem.

Important Dates
March 17-30, 2024: Semi-Finals
April 2024: Preparation meeting bringing together the finalists from Israel and the Jewish World.
May 1st, 2024: Final Competition to be held Jerusalem , which will be recorded.
May 14, 2024: The event will be televised nationally in Israel as part of the festivities of Israel’s 76th Independence Day.

Qualifying Stage

Some of the quizzes will take place as frontal events and some will be held online via zoom.

Quizzes in Israeli Communities and The Jewish World
This year, the World Zionist Quiz is planned to be held throughout the Jewish World – New York, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Toronto, Paris, London, Kiev / Moscow, Johannesburg, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, and other communities.
The quizzes will be conducted through representatives of WZO.

Preparatory Seminar
The preparation Seminar brings together the final teams from Israel and the Jewish World.
The seminar contains quiz preparation, lectures, relevant questionnaires, and final interviews,
The preparation meeting will take place on April, 2024 on Mount Herzl, Jerusalem.
Semi-Final Stage
The winners of the qualifying stage will continue to the semi-finals, out of which the top 10 teams will advance to the finals.
The way to the finals
At the end of the Online stage, the teams with the best scores will progress to the Zoom Qualifications competitions in the community. The
winning team will continue to the finals in Israel, which will take place on April 25th, 2022. The finals will be broadcast on national television on
Israel’s 74th Independence Day.
Entering the quiz will be through the Zinoet app or through registration on the World Zionist Quiz site www.zionyeda.co.il.

The Finals
The finals will be held at Jerusalem, on May 1st.
The finals will be held at the Jerusalem Theatre as a huge final event broadcast on television.
The top 10 teams will participate in the Final and will win a team trip following the stepping stones of Theodor Herzl. The finals will be filmed at Jerusalem and at various heritage sites throughout Israel.
The event will be televised on Independence Day, the 76th anniversary of the State of Israel.
